For the sixth edition of the South American football Championship (known as Copa América since 1975), Chile is initially designated as hosts of the competition. On 22 October, 20,000 spectators watching 22 players enter the pitch at estadio das Laranjeiras. The match referee is Argentinean, M. Servando Pérez.
